008/365 - Matt - HDR Tree

( f/5.6 55mm 1/200 sec ISO 800 Nikon D40 )

This is one section of a tree in my backyard. It is about 6 or 7 stories high and has been there since I was born. I wanted to get a complete shot of the tree, but I was not satisfied with the pictures. So, I decided to take a picture and generate an HDR image with Photomatix. It came out pretty cool. Let me know what you think...

You need to put your ISO back down to 200. At 800, you will just get more noise in the image...

That is one big tree. Cool pic.

I want to do some HDR too. As soon as I get the software, we need to insert the theme sooner than later.

We use to have a tree like that in our front yard until they decided to put new water lines in.
Then we said good bye to that tree.
I don't understand the details about the shot but I really think it is a nice picture.
I like big trees like that.
