173/365 - Jim - Eastern Gray Squirrel

( f/4.5 200mm 1/250 sec ISO 200 Nikon D300 )
I looked out my back window and saw a couple squirrels running around, so I grabbed my camera and went back to the woods to see if I could shoot them. This one grabbed a piece of corn and posed for me before I scared it off by taking a step toward it. Taking these wildlife photos is pretty fun and makes me itch for the 2x teleconverter even more... or is it just the mosquito bites.

You should teach Jameson the Gray Squirrel song. Koen learned it at his preschool last year. He was so cute singing it.

Wow, that is really detailed.

Good idea on the song. The picture looks great. Wonder where the squirrel got that piece of corn-there were a couple of corn cobs in our yard last week or so...must have got them from someone else and brought them here.
